About Cheri
Cheri brings a rich and varied background to her work as a Business Coach, Workshop Facilitator and Reiki Master. Since she has been a business owner herself for many years, she understands what it takes to run a successful business and also maintain a well balanced and fulfilling personal life.
Cheri received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from Portland State University in Portland, OR. She has continued her education by regularly attending workshops, classes and retreats in the areas of communication, business development, Vipassana and Zen meditation, coaching, Reiki,and EFT. She is currently working on becoming certified in Human Design System -- an incredibly useful tool for helping clients make the best choices for them as they make decisions for their business and personal lives. Her commitment to education and staying up to date with technology and techniques ensures her clients are receiving the best of what is currently available.
With a strong background in both personal and professional development, Cheri has what it takes to assist the self-employed to grow a business that allows them to do the work they love, make a good living and still have plenty of time and energy available for a rewarding and enjoyable personal life.
As a Certified Professional Coach (CPC), Cheri has received very specific training and has demonstrated proficiency in coaching techniques that allow her to help her clients get to the heart of what matters most quickly and easily. She graduated from Academy of Coach Training (now called Invite Change) in 2000. In the world of coaching, this training is voluntary and those who choose it demonstrate a commitment to providing the best tools and techniques available.
In addition to her work as a coach, Cheri is a Reiki (energy healing) Master. She offers Reiki treatments and first through third degree classes in Portland, OR.
For fun, Cheri likes to hike, dance, do tai chi, attend outdoor concerts, share good meals with friends, play games, learn and teach about sustainability, read, play music (flute) and whatever else sounds good at the time. She's always up for a good adventure.
